Enterprise Risk Management for Startups
Free Short Training Course by IRM India in collaboration with Invest India
Risks are an inevitable yet integral part of entrepreneurship and a structured approach to managing these risks is often ignored in the early stages of business. While none of these risks can be eliminated, it is essential that entrepreneurs learn how to manage uncertainties across departments to protect the objectives and enhance the growth of their business. With increasing business failures and external complexities, it is imperative that startups implement robust processes and systems to identify and respond to vulnerabilities and threats across the value chain. Regulators in India have mandated only specific companies to set up a formal risk management function but in the wake of the pandemic, even private equity funds and other startup investors have started evaluating startups on their ability to manage risks and crises.
